CDLC, Carpe Diem Lounge Club

Went to CDLC for a looong chilled lunch. It´s a really cool spot and it´s an awesome party place, but do not eat here. The food is so average and really expensive for what you get. I just paid 120 € for lunch and some cava, saying that we had coffee and starters aswell. It is such a cool place but for eating I would def go for a cool tapas place in town instead.

The rest of my sunday will be spent in bed....watching Sebastian Vettel going round and round........

Älgarna demonstrerar, älgarna har fått nog!

And the hippies are still playing, smoking weed, drinking beer...and yes protesting against...ehhhh everything. They built a hippie camp in El Triangel and it´s not looking very pretty. It´s quite fun to walk around though.

Good night peeps

Sagrada Familia

Sunday afternoon was a day of sight seeing. We went to this amazing curch called Sagrada Familia. Designed by Gaudi.

(Wikepidia)

"The expiatory church of La Sagrada Família is a work on a grand scale which was begun on 19 March 1882 from a project by the diocesan architect Francisco de Paula del Villar (1828-1901). At the end of 1883 Gaudí was commissioned to carry on the works, a task which he did not abandon until his death in 1926. Since then different architects have continued the work after his original idea.

The building is in the centre of Barcelona, and over the years it has become one of the most universal signs of identity of the city and the country. It is visited by millions of people every year and many more study its architectural and religious content.

It has always been an expiatory church, which means that since the outset, 125 years ago now, it has been built from donations. Gaudí himself said: "The expiatory church of La Sagrada Família is made by the people and is mirrored in them. It is a work that is in the hands of God and the will of the people." The building is still going on and could be finished some time in the first third of the 21st century. " (www.sagradafamilia.com)

Car show in Barca

This sat we went to an old classic car show outside Barca. Our friend Emmet have got an old classic Ford from 1958. It´s green and absolutely amazing. Anyway, it was a proper Rock-a-billy festival and the people looked fab...dressed to their teeths in old school clothing!

It was nice to do something different and get out of Barca for a change. We got back at 8 and just went for dinner and then to bed. Nice chilled sat i Barca.
